Mac Isseks

Marshall “Mac” Isseks is a musician and educator originally from Liberty, New York. He earned a BA in philosophy from Emory University and an MM in jazz studies from Georgia State University. He has studied and performed with many of Atlanta’s great jazz community members including: Gary Motley, Kevin Bales, Louis Heriveaux, Mace Hibbard, EJ Hughes, Audrey Shakir and Kermit Walker. Mr. Isseks’s undergraduate work in philosophy focused on French existentialism and jazz improvisation, both of which have remained lifelong passions. He performs regularly in Atlanta’s fertile music scene. Mac founded Intown Musicians in 2017.

 
 
 

Daniel Wytanis

Daniel was born in Atlanta in 1996 and introduced to music at a very young age.  Having grown up in a musical family, jazz had always served as an integral part of his life.  He has shared the stage with many artists, including Wycliffe Gordon, Marcus Printup, Rhonda Thomas, Chris Crenshaw and many more.

Daniel is a graduate of Georgia State University.  His teachers include Wes Funderburk, Kevin Bales, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.  Daniel has performed across the United States, Dominican Republic, and Europe.Daniel has spent the last several years of his career teaching brass, piano, music theory, and production across the metro Atlanta area. He has taught a wide range of students both in age and skill. Daniel firmly believes in developing his students’ ability to create their own authentic sound and style.

Deitrich Jones II

Deitrich Jones II is professional musician/instructor who began his love for music at an early age of 10. He then decided to pursue a degree in music at Georgia state University where he received a jazz studies degree in 2019. Since then he has continued to perform all throughout the United States. One of his greatest accomplishments is being able to give back through the medium of teaching the youth.

Bradley Karas

Bradley Karas is a saxophonist and educator in the Atlanta area. He settled in Atlanta after obtaining a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance from Central Michigan University, a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance, and an Artist Diploma from The Hartt School - The University of Hartford. While in school, Karas gained a passion for new music for the saxophone and has been a part of many commissions and premieres from composers such as John Luther Adams, David McBride, Stephen Woods, Spencer Perkins, Joseph David Spence, and Keaton Garrett. He currently teaches saxophone, flute, clarinet, and piano at The Atlanta International School as well as his own private studio of students.

Jenna Livsey

Jenna is a full-time music therapist in Atlanta, and has worked with clients from newborn babies to elder adults. She has been teaching private music lessons for several years as well. I love teaching people of all ages, because I think everyone deserves to learn music, even if it's just for yourself! I have a bachelor's in music therapy from the University of Georgia, where my primary instrument was voice, and my Master's in Music Therapy is from Colorado State University. I have been singing since I was very little, and began taking piano lessons young as well!

Anthony Mancini

Anthony is a musician and educator based in Atlanta, GA.  He attended Kennesaw State University where he graduated with honors, receiving degrees in Jazz Guitar Performance and Music Education for Wind Band. Anthony has performed/recorded for:  Musiq SoulChild, Kehlani, Melanie Amaro, Sonny Digital, Rahbi, The dReam Center (William Murphy III), Relentless Church (John Gray), Jerome Flood II (Floodgeight), Stupid Dope’s Live at the Dojo: The Wicked Band of Misfits, Shenice, Wycliffe Gordon, Eric Alexander, Joe Farnsworth, Artimus, A-Lex, Brandon Isaiah, Kent Aberle Duo (Mood Duo), Sonic Communion, The Macon Pops Orchestra, Richard Shaw Jr., David McClatchey, The Colin Alvarez Band, Wade Sapp, Marco Maritz, Mandi Strachota, Anthony Crane, Jay Turner, Stevie B, Bob Bakert, Spectrum, The Chris Otts Group, Emerald Empire Band, and various other ensembles. 

Ezra Anthony

Ezra Anthony (b. 1996) has been a multi-instrumentalist and composer since age 10 with a primary focus on violin and guitar. He has performed in string orchestras, symphonic orchestras, and jazz band from grade school to college and studied violin at Georgia State University. Holding a bachelor's degree in Music Technology & Engineering, Ezra's career is centered around recording and producing for musicians and filmmakers. His goal for teaching is to pass on classical technique and multi-genre exposure for musicians who aspire to be confident, instrument in-hand.
